CPD Issues Burglary Warning for Rogers Park

ROGERS PARK — Police warned Rogers Park residents Tuesday of a pair of burglaries in the neighborhood that they believe were committed by the same man.

The suspected burglar robbed a house in the 1900 block of West Morse Avenue on Sunday afternoon, according to the community alert, and a house in the 7100 block of North Ridge Avenue on the evening of July 9.

Police describe the suspected burglar as a black man in his late 20s, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 180 pounds.

Anyone with information on the burglaries, or the suspect, is encouraged to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
