LOGAN SQUARE — Bring a blanket and some snacks Tuesday night to Haas Park for a Night Out: Movies in the Parks showing.

Refreshments will be served at the park, 2402 N. Washtenaw Ave., ahead of an all-ages showing of "Strange Magic" from 8:15 p.m. to sundown.

"Strange Magic" is an animated PG-rated fairy tale from Lucasfilm in which “popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion.”

The Chicago Park District's 15th annual Movies in the Parks series kicked off June 4 and features more than 240 outdoor screenings of current and classic movies in parks across the city.
