PULLMAN — For the last seven years, locals have celebrated the “old neighborhood” with a family picnic of sorts that aims to reunite current residents with generations of folks who grew up in George Pullman’s factory town but moved away.
This year’s Pullman Family Reunion kicks off at noon Aug. 1 with a kids’ bike parade around Arcade Park and continues with a cookout, games, music and a raffle.
Organizers plan to take a “family picture” on the Hotel Florence steps at 5 p.m.
