ROGERS PARK — For 10 years, the Celebrate Clark Street Music Festival in Rogers Park has drawn in thousands of guests, all looking to soak in the international flavors of music, art, food, drink and culture the outdoor event has to offer.

Put on in large part by the Rogers Park Business Alliance, with sponsorship from neighboring businesses, the festival aims to "reflect the unique diversity in Rogers Park by presenting music from all four corners of the world," according to organizers.

To celebrate a decade of weekends dedicated to the diversity of cultural expressions around the world, this Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. (10 p.m. on Sunday) more than 30,000 people are expected to gather on Clark Street between Morse and Estes avenues to show off their global fanfare.

The festival features two live music stages that will be home to over 18 musical acts and activities, food from Senegal, Greece and Latin America, as well as a craft fair, interactive art pieces, kids' activities and more. This year's festivities will also include a live mural painting.

Wine and beer will be available as well, and for patrons of Clark Street who spend at least $25, a free beer is also in the mix, according to organizers.

The $5 ($10 for families) admission price is a suggested donation that helps to fund projects in the neighborhood, such as "beautification" projects and the Glenwood Sunday Market, organizers say.
