HYDE PARK — Real estate experts will separate reality from the reality shows at a homes expo on Saturday in South Shore.

The South Side Expo will offer 10 workshops helping confused homeowners who struggling to understand why reality shows make homeownership so easy for rookies.

The event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Shore International College Prep, 1955 E. 75th St., brings together homeowners with experts on mortgages, contractors, insurance and other services.

RE/MAX agents Warren and LaShawn Davis’ nonprofit Chicago Expo has organized a full day of workshops on buying foreclosed properties, flipping property and interior design makeovers.
