CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot late Monday night in Humboldt Park, police said.

The man was standing in the 3000 block of West Cortland Street with a group around 10:50 p.m. when a blue SUV drove up and someone inside began shooting, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The victim was struck in his righ thigh and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
