
CHICAGO — There will be fireworks displays (official and unofficial), parades and concerts all over the city for the Fourth of July on Saturday.
The weather should be dry — which will be a pleasant change from a rainy June — if not necessarily warm, so this weekend is your chance to get outside and enjoy the summer.

Sox vs. Orioles Postgame Fireworks
When: After the 7:10 p.m. Friday game
Where: U.S. Cellular Field, 333. W. 35th St., but you can catch the display from the surrounding neighborhoods without attending the game, especially if you're on the east side of the ballpark.
Downtown/The Loop
Freedom Fest
When: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave.
Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well
When: 7 p.m. Saturday, with shows Friday to Sunday as well
Where: Soldier Field
Odyssey, Spirit of Chicago and Mystic Blue Fourth of July Fireworks Dinner Cruises
When: Boarding at 7:45 p.m., cruise is 8:30-11:30 p.m.

Fourth of July Fireworks
When: 9:30 p.m., but Navy Pier suggests people come earlier because the gates will close when capacity is reached.

When: about 9 p.m., depending when it gets dark, Saturday
Where: The show takes place on private club grounds at 900 W. Foster Ave., but it can be seen from surrounding parks.
