LOGAN SQUARE — Monthly parody show “The Stars Are Out” will host an evening of film and comedy July 3 when Comfort Films presents a classic movie with commentary.

This month’s film will offer a take on "Face/Off," the 1997 John Travolta/Nicolas Cage movie in which an FBI agent undergoes a face transplant to assume to identity of a ruthless terrorist but runs into trouble when that same terrorist undergoes a face transplant to impersonate him.

The Comfort Film showcase starts at Comfort Station, 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave., at 8 p.m. when the film screening will be accompanied by live commentary from Tyler Jackson and Steven King, who will play “exaggerated versions of celebrities” Cage and Travolta, respectively.

The free presentation will be edited down from its 139-minute run time and the commentary is produced by Andy Fleming, according to an announcement for the show.

Past "The Stars Are Out" presentations have included showings of "Shoot ‘Em Up," "Garden State" and "Taken."
