CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot in Portage Park late Tuesday, police said.

Around 11:20 p.m., the 24-year-old man was in the 6100 block of West Melrose Street when he was shot in his right foot, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Community First Medical Center in good condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
