LINCOLN PARK — Chicago's Lincoln Park will become the center of the U.S. soccer universe Tuesday afternoon for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup semifinals.

U.S. Soccer, the national governing body for soccer, is hosting the official viewing party for Tuesday's matchup with Germany in Lincoln Park.

The party kicks off at 3 p.m. with a FanHQ event in Lincoln Park near Stockton and LaSalle drives, just south of the zoo.

The game, taking place in Montreal, Canada, is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The viewing party will feature a live feed of the match on a 19-by-33-foot HD screen set up in the park.

The free event is open to the public.

Fan-focused activities will take place before the match.

Food, soft drinks and beer will be sold during the event.

The U.S. has an 18-4-7 all-time record against Germany, but is considered an underdog in the matchup, according to experts.

Germany, the No. 1 team in the FIFA world rankings, is the heavy favorite according to ESPN experts.

The U.S. is coming into the game following a 1-0 victory over China in the quarterfinals.
