CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in Lakeview Sunday night, police said.
Around 11 p.m., the man was walking in the 1000 block of West Belmont Avenue when someone stabbed him in his torso and shoulder multiple times, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man took himself to Weiss Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Pacheco said.
No one is in custody for the stabbing.
Police said there was no indication the stabbing was related to the earlier Pride Parade celebrations nearby.
