CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot early Wednesday in Old Town, police said.

At 12:44 a.m., the man was walking in the 400 block of West Blackhawk Street when he was approached by three men and was shot in his buttocks, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
