DUNNING — Ald. Nicholas Sposato (38th) will host his fifth annual Animal Adoption Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hiawatha Park, 8029 W. Forest Preserve Drive.

The event will feature animals looking for their forever homes from the Chicago Department of Animal Care and Control as well as the Anti-Cruelty Society.

Sposato was elected alderman of the 38th Ward in February, after serving as alderman of the 36th Ward for four years.
