Resurrection College Prep Grads to Play College Sports

Resurrection College Prep High School

NORWOOD PARK — Six student-athletes who graduated this spring from Resurrection College Prep High School will play college sports, school officials announced.

The Norwood Park all-girls Catholic high school encourages its students to balance athletics, academics, service and community involvement.

These new graduates who will go on to play college sports:

• Mary (Molly) Dougherty will play lacrosse at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where she plans to study psychology.

• Kaitlynn Dziadosz will play softball at Loras College, where she plans to study criminal justice.

• Carissa Fagiano will join the Cross Country and Track and Field teams at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she plans to study nursing. Fagiano competed in the Illinois High School Association Outdoor Track State Championship this spring.

• Taylor Farrell will play basketball at Lake Forest College. Farrell was named to the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference All-Conference team.

• Gina Moriarty will play soccer at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill., where she plans to study veterinary medicine. Moriarty was named to the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference All-Conference team.

• Kelly Henehan will play club water polo at St. Louis University, where she plans to study biology.
