CHICAGO — No one was injured after shots were fired in West Ridge Friday night, police said.

Around 11 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 5600 block of North Western Avenue, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Witnesses told police they saw a black minivan fire shots from an alley, police said.

A witness told DNAinfo Chicago that a crowd spilled out into the alley from Sherry's Bar, 5652 N. Western Ave., and then shots were fired.
