LINCOLN PARK — A 23-year-old woman died after falling from a balcony in Lincoln Park early Thursday morning.
Karlie Aubry was leaning over a second floor balcony railing in the 2200 block of North Halsted Street when she fell about 12:35 a.m., according to police.
Aubry, of the 2800 block of North Orchard Street, was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
She was pronounced dead at 6:38 a.m.
Police say the fall appears to be accidental.
