LINCOLN PARK — Trellis, a neighborhood wine bar, has been sold to a real estate developer.

The wine bar, which was owned by the Four Corners Tavern Group, served its last drink Sunday.

The location, at 2424 N. Racine Ave., was originally host to Gaslight before the tavern group created the wine bar Trellis in the fall of 2013.

A real estate developer approached Four Corners Tavern Group to purchase both the Trellis building and the adjacent residential building at 2426 N. Racine Ave.

"We had an opportunity and accepted it," said Ryan Indovina, a director with Four Corners Tavern Group.

Indovina, who declined to name the buyer, said the developer plans to demolish the buildings.

Four Corners portfolio includes Gaslight, which opened on Clark Street in Lincoln Park last year, Benchmark, Schoolyard, Crossing, Ranalli's, West End and a number of other bars.

The group purchased American Junkie in River North in January and is in the process of re-concepting the space.

"There is definitely activity planned for the back half of this year," Indovina said of the group's works in progress. "We are excited about the growth."
