LINCOLN PARK — Most Chicagoans know one of the best spots in the city for a drink with a view is on top of Hotel Lincoln at the J. Parker.

Now, how about taking in that view and the sunrise over Lake Michigan while in downward dog?

Starting July 8, Equinox is teaming up with the hotel to offer once-a-week yoga classes on the rooftop overlooking Lincoln Park, Downtown and the lake.

The classes are open to both members and non-members of the gym and will be held Wednesday mornings in July from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Each week will feature a different yoga sequence.

The classes will extend into August, but will switch from yoga to barre on the 13th-floor roof, 1816 N. Clark St.

Sunrise yoga and barre classes are $10 for members, $20 for non-members and complimentary for hotel guests.

Attendees can sign up online for yoga classes at this link and barre classes at this link.
