CHICAGO — Shootings across the city since Tuesday morning killed two men and wounded four others, including a 13-year-old boy, police said.

Tuesday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy was fatally shot while watching two women fight in Lawndale, according to Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police spokesman. About four hours later and a few blocks north, a 29-year-old man was fatally shot in East Garfield Park.

In other shootings, a 13-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy were wounded in a shooting in Englewood around 5:40 p.m. The two were outside in the 1200 block of West 73rd Place when someone yelled gang slogans and opened fire, Gaines said.

The 13-year-old was shot in his leg and taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition was stabilized. The 15-year-old boy was shot in his shoulder and taken to Christ Hospital, where his condition was also stabilized, Gaines said.

Most recently, a bullet grazed a 16-year-old boy's head in Washington Park. Around 4:20 a.m., the boy was walking in an alley when in the first block of East 56th Place when he was shot, Gaines said.

The boy was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition, Gaines said.

Around 12:05 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in the left side of his body while in the 11900 block of South Perry Avenue in West Pullman. The man was taken to Christ in fair condition, Gaines said.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings.
