CHICAGO — A 25-year-old woman died after falling from Upper Wacker Drive in the Loop early Sunday morning, police said.
Around 3:25 a.m., the woman was leaning over a railing on Upper Wacker Drive when she fell onto the pavement in the 400 block of East Lower Wacker Drive, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
Genera Lee, of the 5700 block of South Damen Avenue in West Englewood, was pronounced dead on the scene at 4:26 a.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Estrada said her death appeared to be accidental.
Police are investigating.
