NORWOOD PARK — Taft High School's teachers of the month for June not only get bragging rights — but they also get the best parking spots on campus.
Principal Mark Grishaber picked counselor Maciej Myszka and custodian Marco Lopez as teachers of the month for the Norwood Park school, 6530 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
Both "embody the spirit and commitment to excellence that make us proud to have them on our staff," according to a statement from school officials.
Grishaber gave up the principal's parking spot in order to honor a teacher every month when he took the top job at the school in at the beginning of the school year.
Grishaber accepts nominations for teacher of the month via email.
