Three-Year-Old Falls Out of Window, Now in Serious Condition

CHICAGO —  A 3-year-old boy was hospitalized after falling from a second-floor window of an apartment building in Englewood.

The boy fell from the building in the 7100 block of South Emerald Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday. He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition, whre he was treated for deep cuts on his torso, police said.

Police were unsure how the boy fell.
