
CHICAGO — Police are investigating after a restaurant was damaged early Saturday morning in West Town.
An owner of a food establishment in the 600 block of North Ashland Avenue discovered her windows and doors had been shattered overnight, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
A source told DNAinfo Chicago the business was Bella's Pizzeria, 658 N. Ashland Ave. Reached Sunday by phone, an employee at the restaurant declined to comment.
The incident occurred between 1 a.m and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Cooper said.
No one is in custody, and police are investigating the criminal damage to property.
