LINCOLN PARK — Chicago's center of Greek like is set to move north this weekend for the annual Lincoln Park Greek Fest.

The neighborhood-favorite festival kicks off Friday night at 5 p.m.

The festival will be held at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 N. Sheffield Ave., and feature a full menu of Greek dishes and desserts, dancing, and live Greek and local music.

Some highlights of the menu include rotisserie lamb, pastitso (Greek style lasagna), Moussaka, Spanakopita (spinach pie), baklava and loukoumades (honey puffs sprinkled with cinnamon.)

Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available during the fest.

Blackhawks fans don't need to worry, as the organizers plans on airing the game during the festival Saturday.

The festival will be open Friday from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

All proceeds benefit St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
