Driver Sought Who Hit Cyclist in Bucktown, Ran, Police Say

CHICAGO — Police have released a photo in hopes of identifying the driver of a car who drove off after hitting a cyclist in Bucktown in early May.

The driver of the car did not cause the May 9 accident, but failed to remain on scene as required. The cyclist suffered serious injuries, police said.

The incident happened about 3:15 a.m. near Diversey and Western avenues. After the crash, the driver drove northbound on Western, police said.
