CHICAGO — If you're looking to window shop along the Mag Mile Sunday, you're in for a surprise.
Some 40 storefronts along Michigan Avenue and Oak Street will display dogs and cats up for adoption.
It's the 18th year for "Angels with Tails Gold Coast," an adoption event from Paws Chicago, 1997 N. Clybourn Ave. in Lincoln Park, and nine other local shelters and rescues.
The event goes from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, and there will be more than 150 animals looking for homes.
The event is sponsored by Merrick Pet Care and the Oak Street Council.
