CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot early Monday in Portage Park.

Around 2 a.m., the man was walking near the intersection of Montrose and Austin avenues when someone pulled alongside him in a red minivan and opened fire, striking him in his arm, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Community First Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, Cooper said.
