CHICAGO — White Sox fans will soon have a chance to hear behind-the-scenes tales of the team's 2005 World Series win — told by players from the championship lineup.

On July 19, Chicago White Sox Charities will welcome fans to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the team's World Series run with a special tribute show: "A Season to Remember: A Night with the 2005 World Series Champions."

Starting at 6:30 p.m. inside the Chicago Theatre, a handful of players from that 2005 team — including Jermaine Dye, Jon Garland, Paul Konerko, Scott Podsednik and Cliff Politte — will share their favorite memories and stories from that World Series season.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Thursday. Prices range from $40-$70 for balcony seating and $50-$70 for lower level seating.

For $250, fans can snag VIP tickets, which include a reception with players, a photo opportunity with the World Series trophy and a catered dining experience inside a private, mezzanine-level booth.

Fans can buy tickets by visiting whitesoxcharities.org or calling the Chicago Theatre at 800-745-3000.

All proceeds from the event go to White Sox Charities, which has awarded almost $1.8 million to hundreds of Chicago-based charities so far this year.
