CHICAGO — A man was shot during an argument in Englewood Monday, police said.

At 4:54 p.m., a 19-year-old and another man were arguing in the 6100 block of South Bishop Street, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The argument escalated and one man pulled out a gun and shot the 19-year old in his left leg. He was taken to John H. Stroger Hospital in fair condition, Sweeney said.

No one is in custody.
