Friday:
Beauty and The Brews, Celebration of Women in Craft Beer at The Sedgwick Stop
• All 14 taps will feature women-brewed or women-owned craft beers, plus a meet-and-greet with some of the brewers from 6-10 p.m. 1612 N. Sedgwick St.
AstroProm at Atlas Brewing Co. Brewpub
• Atlas is throwing a space-themed bash to kick off the week with a tap takeover by Temperance Beer company. No cover. 2747 N. Lincoln Ave.
Saturday:
Great Lakes vs. Begyle Billiards & Beer Bonanza at Lincoln Station
• Compete against the brewers in pool while enjoying some rare beers from both breweries. 2432 N. Lincoln Ave.
Monday:
Industry Brunch at The Beer Bistro
• The Beer Bistro is throwing a boozy brunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with three beers from Arcade Beer. 1415 W. Fullerton Ave.
Three Floyds Tapping at Old Town Social
• Some rare Three Floyds beers on tap including Backmasking, Big Tiddy Assassin, Blot Out The Sun, Skull Ole, Throat Snatcher and Zombie Dust. 455 W. North Ave.
Tuesday:
Whole Foods 6th Birthday Party
• $1 off all drafts, and a keg of Kentucky Bourbon Stout will be tapped. 1550 N. Kingsbury St.
Wednesday:
Will Work for Beer: Randy Mosher at the Apple Store
• Beer expert Randy Mosher specialized in new products and design for craft breweries and has written five books on beer. He will be talking design, branding and beer tasting at the Apple Store. 801 W. North Ave.
May 22:
Michigan Quad at Lincoln Station
• Rare brews from Michigan will be featured, including a Founders KBS 2015, a Bell's Brewing Bear Hugs 2014 and Dark Horse Brewing Smells Like a Safety Meeting. Full list available here.
May 24:
Bavarian Beer Brunch at Atlas Brewing Co. Brewpub
• Atlas is hosting a Sunday brunch with Bavarian beers and German inspired comfort food. 2747 N. Lincoln Ave.
May 25:
The Day After at Local Option
• Although the 25th technically falls outside the official craft beer week calendar, Local Option is capping off the week with a massive draft list of rare beers that rivals any bar in the city. Goose Island's BCBS Coffee, Proprietors and Vanilla Rye are all on the extensive draft list.
