ROGERS PARK — True Nature Foods quietly opened in its new home at the Heartland Cafe.

A grand opening is set for May 22 at 7000 N. Glenwood Ave.

True Nature's Paula Companio decided to move her organic market to Rogers Park after Whole Foods announced it was taking over the former Dominick's across the street from her original location. She partnered with Heartland's Tom Rosenfeld, who transformed the cafe's large dining room into a grocery store.

Ben Woodard highlights the big changes:

Now, True Nature has a new home in a new neighborhood and Heartland Cafe has a smaller, more intimate dining area.
