CHICAGO — Three people were arrested after a carjacking that lead to a police chase in Lincoln Park Wednesday night, police said.

Around 11:10 p.m., a 21-year-old and two 17-year-olds approached a 32-year-old man who was getting into his 2002 Chevy Malibu in the 1800 block of North Clybourn Avenue, said Officer Amina Greer, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The three implied they had a gun before getting into the man's car and driving away. Police later spotted the stolen car and a chase began, Greer said.

It ended after the Malibu struck a restaurant sign in the 1900 block of West Fullerton Avenue, Greer said.

No one was injured, and charges were pending Thursday morning.
