AUBURN GRESHAM — An Internet safety specialist will discuss issues such as cyberbullying at a June 2 event.

The Greater Auburn Gresham Community Development Corporation has invited Melissa Henzacek, an Internet safety specialist and high tech crimes bureau, office of the Illinois Attorney General demonstrations, to speak to the community on several issues around internet safety. The event will be held on June 2, at the Urban Partnership Bank's Community Room, 2nd Floor, 7801 S. State St. from 3-5 p.m.

She will share some of the websites most frequented by youths and the apps most used by them. Other topics include online predation and "sexting" — "the act of text messaging someone in the hopes of having a sexual encounter with them later; initially casual, transitioning into highly suggestive and even sexually explicit," according to Urbandictionary.com.

RSVP by calling 773-483-3696.
