Lincoln Park Wine Festival to Feature More Than 80 Wines

LINCOLN PARK — Legally drinking wine during an afternoon in the park, what could be better?

Later this month the inaugural Lincoln Park Wine Festival is offering just that.

The festival will feature more than 80 varieties of wine throughout the weekend of May 30-31 in Jonquil Park, 1001 W. Wrightwood Ave.

The festival will also feature art, live jazz and folk music and wine experts to share their knowledge.

The festival opens at 1 p.m. both days and runs through 7 p.m.

The festival will be set up as an open-air market with tented wine and food pavilions.

General admission tickets are $60 and include 12 standard tastings and a commemorative wine glass.

VIP tickets are $95 and include five additional specialty tastings.

Tickets can be bought at lincolnparkwinefest.com.

Two-day passes are available for $100 and designated driver passes are $30.
