NORWOOD PARK — The sound of trains rumbling through the Norwood Park Metra Station May 15 will be accompanied by tunes from the '60s, '70s and '80s from Return Full Circle as part of Friendship Presbyterian Church's Friday Night Love Songs program.
The 7:30 p.m. concert at the Norwood Park Metra Station, 6088 N. Northwest Hwy., is free, but a collection will be held for the American Cancer Society.
The program — with drinks and snacks provided by the church — has raised more than $11,000 for a variety of charities, including the Night Ministry, the Taft High School music department and the New Hope Food Pantry, organizers said.
