CHICAGO — A 24-year-old woman was shot in her leg while riding in a party bus in the Loop early Wednesday.
Around 2:34 a.m., the woman was on the party bus in the 1100 block of South Lake Shore Drive when another partier's gun went off accidentally, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The woman was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition. Witnesses were uncooperative with police after the shooting and no one is in custody, Cooper said.
