EDGEWATER — This year's Edgewater Garage Sale should be the biggest one yet.

In its 21st year, the sale — known by many as simply "The Big Sale" — kicks off 9 a.m. June 6, while organizers continue to signup participants.

Nearly 200 households this year are expected to put stuff for sale out on their lawns and parkways.

"It's big here — and it's getting bigger," said Marilyn Pierce, the sale's self-described "Mother Hen." "I can’t believe I've been doing this for 21 years."

Pierce said most people around the neighborhood simply call the garage sale "The Big Sale."

And, according to Pierce, "They get bigger every year."

This year the boundaries were expanded to include three more block clubs east of North Broadway. Now seven in all participate.

To get in on the sale, and be a part of the sale's permits, contact Marilyn Pierce at mjpier7133@att.net.

Here's a breakdown of the boundaries:

• East of Broadway to Sheridan Road, from Foster to Granville avenues

• West of Broadway to Clark Street, from Ridge Avenue to Devon Avenue
