CHICAGO — A 50-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Humboldt Park early Saturday, police said.

At 1:05 a.m., a 50-year-old man and another man were in a business in the 2600 West Chicago Avenue when the two men started arguing, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

One man pulled out a knife and stabbed the 50-year-old man in his chest, Sedevic said.

The man was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, Sedevic said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Hermenegil Do Viochis, 50, of the 3800 block of West Diversey Avenue. Do Viochis was pronounced at 1:22 a.m., officials said.

According to the Sun-Times, the men were arguing inside Taqueria El Taco Naco, 2640 W. Chicago Ave.

The Chicago police have charged 51-year-old Anastacio Gonzales, of the 2600 block of W. Rice St., with first-degree murder for the stabbing, a news release announced Sunday.

Kim Tobin, 31, who lives near the restaurant, was surprised to learn about the stabbing Saturday.

"That's scary and sad," Tobin said. "The shop recently changed ownership a few months ago and it's family-owned and they are very nice. Whenever I walk by, they always say hi."

Tobin added, "I didn't even know they were open that late. ... I sometimes walk by around 8 p.m. because I'm hungry and they're closed."
