CHICAGO — The annual celebration of vinyl known as Record Store Day is set for Saturday, and dozens of shops in Chicago from Rogers Park to Beverly will be taking part.
While many of the stores will have live music, free food and other festivities, it's the specially pressed records, made just for this day, that will take center stage. Music fans are expected to line up early across town in hopes of getting their hands on records from the likes of The Doors, Wu-Tang Clan, David Bowie and hundreds of other acts.
Some of Chicago's stores even told us which of the limited releases they'll have on hand. Here's a map to help you plot your Record Store Day plans.
