CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was shot Sunday in Uptown.

Around 6:35 p.m., the man was standing in the 4500 block of North Magnolia Avenue when someone pulled up in a silver car, got out and shot him in his leg, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The shooter drove off and the man was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

The man is a documented gang member and no one is in custody for the shooting.
