ROGERS PARK — Clarke's, a 24-hour diner chain, and a physical rehab clinic will open on Sheridan Road, Loyola University announced.

The university said in a news release that it had signed leases with the new businesses.

Clarke's, with locations in Evanston and Lakeview, would open in a 3,200-square-foot space in the university's Granada Center, while NovaCare Rehabilitation would open in a storefront at the university's new Montserrat apartment building at the Loyola "L" station.

The new businesses join Go Grocer, Pita Pit and BMO Harris Bank as Loyola's newest retailers.

"The university strongly believes in the business communities surrounding our two Chicago campuses," said Wayne Magdziarz, senior vice president for capital planning and campus management at Loyola, in a statement. "We are pleased to have these retailers join us as we continue to build the business community around our campuses in an effort to help the surrounding neighborhoods flourish."
