JEFFERSON PARK — Ald. John Arena (45th) will host a document-shredding event to help prevent residents from becoming victims of identity theft.

45th Ward residents can bring old bank statements, check receipts, pay stubs, legal documents, credit card statements or any other documents that contain personal information to the parking lot of the Hoyne Savings Bank, 4729 N. Milwaukee Ave., for shredding from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 2, organizers said.
