PORTAGE PARK — A health fair at Portage Park Elementary School will offer screenings as well as free fitness activities.
Sponsored by Ald. John Arena (45th) and the Portage Park Health and Wellness Committee, admission is free to the fair scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25 at the school, 5330 W. Berteau Ave.
The fair will also offer free posture analysis, acupuncture, blood pressure checks, Body Mass Index assessments, glucose and cholesterol screenings, health information presentations and massages, organizers said.
Attendees can also sign up for identification cards for children and those with chronic medical conditions, organizers said.
Karate, Jazzercise, yoga and other fitness activities will also take place, organizers said.
