Around 3:40 a.m., a 32-year-old man driving a Saturn was heading westbound in the 500 block of East 115th Street when he crashed into a light pole, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The driver and passenger, a 22-year-old woman, were both taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Park. The two were listed in critical condition, Sedevic said.
