PORTAGE PARK — The work of a Northwest Side photographer will fill the walls of the Perkolator Cafe through May 15.

The exhibit organized by Northwest Arts Connection will feature photos from Lucy Mueller, organizers said.

The showing is the fourth in an ongoing series of events at Perkolator promoting the work of artists who live in the area, organizers said.

Mueller will discuss her work from 2:30-4 p.m. April 18 at Perkolator, 6032 W. Irving Park Road, organizers said.

Mueller strives to capture intriguing images that often get lost amid the clutter of everyday life, organizers said.

The images in the show reflect different themes that Mueller has focused on during her career. She is passionate about architecture and, “enjoys trekking around the city, being out in the elements, and photographing from unusual vantage points,” organizers said.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of photographs at the show will benefit Harmony House for Cats
