CHICAGO — A body was found inside a burning vehicle in West Garfield Park Friday morning, police said.
At 7:05 a.m., police received a call of a burning vehicle in the 4500 block of West Fulton Street, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a Chicago Police spokesman.
After the fire was extinguished a body was found inside the vehicle, Sullivan said.
No information was available on the gender, age or race of the person, but police are investigating.
