VIDEO: Street Brawl Breaks Out In Front of River North Piano Bar

RIVER NORTH — Warm weather is slowly returning to Chicago, and with it, more late-night shenanigans.

A neighbor's cellphone video shows about a dozen people trading blows early Saturday outside a River North restaurant.

The three-minute video, taken around 2 a.m. Saturday, shows a group approaching a car parked by Reza's, 432 W. Ontario St., holding up traffic as the brawl begins.

The fight does not last long, but a minor car collision can be heard at the 1:32 mark. The crowd disperses near the two-minute mark as police arrive.

A police spokesman said police did head to the scene in response to a disturbance call, but no arrests were made after "peace was restored." Representatives of Reza's and other nearby businesses denied involvement, saying they were closed at the time.
