EDGEWATER — A new building owner on Bryn Mawr Avenue said the street would be ripe for a sports bar or Chipotle.
"That type of concept would crush it," said David Ruttenberg, who bought the building at 1130 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. with his partners at Marc Realty for $400,000.
The location might be a tough sell to Chipotle, which on Monday opened its first Edgewater location around the corner, but Ruttenberg said a pub and restaurant would also be a welcomed tenant.
"We are open to any tenants that can add value to the community there," he said.
A dollar store had occupied the two-story building near the Bryn Mawr "L" station. It closed earlier this year.
