ROGERS PARK — The Factory Theater employed the use of a couple of strange props — a head of broccoli and a random red-colored bottle of soda — in its new, goofy promotional video asking supporters for cash.

The donations would help the theater complete its move back to Rogers Park, where it began 23 years ago. The theater has been in Avondale, but has already started work converting the storefront at 1621-23 Howard St. into an 80-seat theater.

So to build some hype — and to raise $20,000 — the theater troupe put together a video to promote its IndieGoGo fundraiser.

The video also takes a few jabs at Howard Street's quirks, like its unique variety of ethnic lunch counters and the sneaker "emporium" located in the marquee storefront of the Howard Theater building.

Supporters who donate are offered a few different perks, depending on the size of the donation. For $25, the troupe will make you a personalized video and upload it to social media to say thanks.

They'll also frame your name and hang it on a wall in their, um, bathroom.

But for $250, they'll inscribe your name on one of the theater's seats.

The theater plans to open on Howard for its fall season.
