CHICAGO — Snow? Snow way!

Yes, way.

About a half inch of snow dusted some parts of the area overnight. This time of year, that's not unusual, weather data shows. And the odds are better than 50-50 that it'll snow again.

"Its not unusual for snow to fall in the spring at all," said Amy Seeley, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. As of 7:00 a.m., .6 inches of snow had fallen at O'Hare and Midway, Seeley said.

In 2014, the last recorded snow fall of the season was on April 15, Seeley said. The latest snowfall recorded was June 2, 1910.

WGN-TV's Tom Skilling says 67 percent of years have seen measurable snow after March 26.

No snow in the weekend forecast, though Sunday will see rain with a high of 35 degrees. We should break 60 by Wednesday.
